About Me

Hi, I'm so glad you're here! I'm a recent graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where I studied English and journalism. As an undergraduate student, I had many opportunities to center in on my greatest passion: storytelling.

Most recently, I had the privilege of working at the award-winning News21 program as a Carnegie-Knight fellow based at Arizona State University in Phoenix, Arizona.

I spent more than two years as a reporter at The Daily Nebraskan, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's only independent, student-run publication before stepping into the role of managing editor. I've also held internships at Nebraska Public Media and the Lincoln Journal Star.

If I'm not working in the newsroom, I always like to spend time with friends and family, find new trails to hike, or cheer on my favorite teams!

“Journalism is the art of coming up with the questions that someone doesn't want you to ask.”
